As a Cloud Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and managing robust, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure that underpins our critical applications and services. Your day-to-day will involve architecting cloud solutions, automating operational workflows, and ensuring the continuous delivery and reliability of our systems.

You will collaborate closely with development teams, SREs, and IT operations to translate business requirements into technical solutions, driving efficiency and innovation. This role directly impacts our users and customers by ensuring high availability, performance, and security of our platforms, enabling seamless experiences and supporting our strategic business growth.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, deploy, and manage highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure on leading platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) for various applications, ensuring optimal performance and cost efficiency.

- Implement and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate the entire software delivery lifecycle, from code commit to production deployment, enabling faster and more reliable releases for development teams.

- Develop and implement comprehensive automation scripts using Python and Shell scripting for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and routine operational tasks, significantly enhancing operational efficiency and reducing manual effort.

- Administer and troubleshoot Unix/Linux-based systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability of critical services across our cloud environment.

- Establish and manage advanced monitoring and alerting systems using industry-standard tools, applying Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to proactively identify, diagnose, and resolve issues, ensuring high uptime and performance of cloud services.

- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including development, QA, and product management to define infrastructure requirements, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive continuous improvement in system reliability, security, and performance.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated proficiency in designing, deploying, and managing cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), encompassing compute, storage, networking, and security services, with a strong understanding of cloud best practices.

- Strong ability to implement DevOps practices and build automated CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps, coupled with expertise in infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).

- Advanced scripting capabilities in Python and Shell for automating complex IT infrastructure tasks, alongside a deep understanding of Unix/Linux system administration and troubleshooting.

- Proven experience in setting up and managing comprehensive monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog) and applying Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to ensure system uptime and performance.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues, propose effective solutions, and communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.

- A collaborative mindset, capable of working effectively in cross-functional teams, and adaptable to evolving technologies and dynamic work environments, including remote/distributed setups across India.
