Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data platforms on cloud infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data engineering, cloud services, and modern data architectures to support analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines on cloud platforms

- Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes for structured and unstructured data

- Implement data ingestion, transformation, and validation workflows

- Work with cloud-native data services and data warehouses

- Ensure data quality, reliability, security, and governance

- Optimize data storage, performance, and cost in the cloud

- Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Software Engineers

- Automate data workflows and monitoring using CI/CD practices

- Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline and performance issues

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Strong experience in data engineering and data pipeline development

- Proficiency in SQL and Python / Scala / Java

- Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform :

1. AWS (S3, Redshift, Glue, EMR, Lambda)

2. Azure (Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, ADLS)

3. GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage)

- Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka)

- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling

- Experience with ETL tools and workflow orchestration (Airflow, Prefect, etc.)

- Familiarity with REST APIs and streaming data processing

- Strong understanding of data security, encryption, and access control
