About the Role:
We are looking for a Cloud Automation Architect with deep expertise in AWS, Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure Automation. The ideal candidate will architect and build enterprise-scale automation platforms, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), GitOps workflows, and self-healing cloud solutions while driving security, compliance, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop enterprise-grade automation using Ansible, including playbooks, roles, collections, and custom modules.
- Build Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for AWS networking, IAM, EKS, ECS, RDS, and cloud infrastructure.
- Develop cloud-native automation using AWS Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, SNS/SQS, Systems Manager, and S3 events.
- Manage Kubernetes deployments using Helm, GitOps (ArgoCD/Flux), RBAC, secrets, and network policies.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps with automated testing, policy enforcement, and drift detection.
- Automate cloud security, compliance, vulnerability remediation, and certificate lifecycle management.
- Implement observability-driven self-healing automation using monitoring platforms like New Relic or LogicMonitor.
- Integrate automation with ITSM workflows and enterprise operational processes.
Must Have Skills:
- 8+ years of IT experience with 6+ years in Cloud Infrastructure Automation.
- Expert-level experience in Ansible automation.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Advanced knowledge of AWS Cloud Architecture and serverless automation.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and GitOps (ArgoCD/Flux).
- Experience building enterprise CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure automation.
- Hands-on experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM, compliance, and infrastructure hardening.
Good to Have:
- Policy-as-Code (OPA, Gatekeeper, Conftest).
- IaC testing tools (Checkov, Terratest, Molecule, tfsec).
- CyberArk, AWS Secrets Manager, SSM Parameter Store.
- Multi-account AWS environments and cost optimization.
- ITSM integration and observability-driven automation.
