Role Overview :
As a Cloud Architect, you will serve as the technical visionary responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native solutions that drive our digital transformation initiatives. You will operate at the intersection of business strategy and engineering, collaborating closely with cross-functional product teams, executive stakeholders, and external clients to translate complex requirements into robust system architectures. By spearheading the transition to modern infrastructure, you will directly influence our ability to deliver high-performance services, ensuring that our cloud ecosystem remains agile, cost-efficient, and capable of supporting rapid business growth in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities :
- Architect and deploy high-availability cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP to ensure seamless service delivery for our global user base.
- Lead large-scale cloud migration projects, moving legacy workloads to modern, distributed environments to improve system reliability and operational efficiency.
- Design and maintain microservices architectures using Docker and Kubernetes to enable modular, scalable, and fault-tolerant application development.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to standardize environment provisioning and reduce manual configuration errors across the development lifecycle.
- Establish comprehensive CI/CD pipelines to accelerate release cycles while maintaining rigorous quality and security standards.
- Define and enforce cloud governance policies and security frameworks to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Mentor engineering teams on cloud best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence across the organization.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated expertise in designing complex distributed systems and cloud-native architectures with 5-10 years of professional experience in cloud computing.
- Advanced proficiency in managing multi-cloud environments, specifically AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, with a deep understanding of their respective service ecosystems.
- Proven ability to orchestrate containerized workloads using Kubernetes and Docker, ensuring optimal resource utilization and application performance.
- Strong command of automation tools like Terraform and CI/CD methodologies to streamline deployment processes and enhance developer productivity.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and influence decision-making at the leadership level.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, with the capacity to adapt to hybrid work environments and thrive in fast-paced, collaborative team settings.
- A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by relevant professional certifications in cloud architecture.
