About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer to join our Business Intelligence team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, Data Architects, Data Engineers, and cross-functional teams to transform complex business requirements into scalable reporting solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Power BI, SQL, data modeling, Python, and modern cloud data platforms, along with excellent communication and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, publish, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.

- Build and maintain Power BI semantic models, datasets, calculated columns, measures, and DAX calculations.

- Develop efficient Power Query (M Language) transformations for data preparation.

- Design scalable data models using star schema and dimensional modeling best practices.

- Connect and integrate data from multiple sources including SQL databases, PostgreSQL, Excel, SharePoint, Salesforce, NetSuite, HubSpot, REST APIs, and cloud platforms.

- Write complex SQL queries involving joins, CTEs, window functions, aggregations, and query optimization.

- Develop reusable reports, KPIs, executive dashboards, scorecards, and operational reports.

- Automate data refresh schedules and monitor dataset performance to ensure data accuracy and availability.

- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure reporting consistency.

- Gather business requirements and translate them into technical reporting solutions.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs, success metrics, and reporting requirements.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies, Sprint Planning, and Jira-based work management.

- Maintain reporting documentation, data dictionaries, reporting catalogs, and technical documentation.

- Provide recommendations to improve data quality, reporting efficiency, and BI architecture.

- Train business users on Power BI reports and self-service analytics.

- Stay updated with the latest Power BI features, Microsoft Fabric capabilities, and BI best practices.

- Understanding of ETL / ELT Pipelines, Data Warehousing, Data Integration, Data Lineage, and Metadata Management.

7. Business Intelligence :

- Experience building Executive Dashboards, Business KPIs, Operational Reports, Sales Reports, Marketing Dashboards, Financial Reports, Product Usage Dashboards, and Ad-hoc Reports.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience working with Salesforce reporting and CRM analytics.

- Exposure to NetSuite, HubSpot, or other SaaS business applications.

- Knowledge of Analytics Engineering concepts.

- Experience with version control tools such as Git.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.

- Experience using Jira for task management.

- Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric is an added advantage.

- Exposure to REST APIs and API-based data integration.

- Understanding of data governance and self-service BI.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.

- 4+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Reporting, or Data Analytics.

- 5+ years of hands-on Power BI development experience.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
