Position : Senior Software Engineer

Location : Bengaluru, India (Hybrid/Remote options available)

Employment Type : Full-Time

Job Summary :

We looking for highly skilled , motivated Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust software solutions for our healthcare platform using JavaScript, PostgreSQL, AWS, and Azure.

We are looking for candidates who have experience in building scalable applications, and a passion for leveraging technology to solve real-world healthcare challenges. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, efficient, and user-friendly solutions

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and Development : Architect, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance software applications using JavaScript, PostgreSQL, AWS, and Azure, ensuring compliance with industry standards (e.g., HIPAA,SOC2 etc).

- Technical Leadership : Lead and mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices in software development. Research and identify potential clients within the target market through various sources such as online research, social media, industry events, and more.

- Collaboration : Work closely with product managers, designers, and healthcare professionals to translate requirements into technical solutions.

- System Optimization : Optimise applications for performance, scalability, and reliability, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient data processing on AWS and Azure infrastructure.

- Security and Compliance : Implement secure coding practices to protect sensitive patient data and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications :

- Education : Any bachelor's degree.

Experience :

- 5+ years of professional software development experience

- Proven expertise in building scalable web applications and APIs using JavaScript.

- Strong experience with PostgreSQL for database design, querying, and optimization.

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms AWS and Azure for deploying and managing applications.

- Familiarity with healthcare standards (e.g., HIPAA, FHIR, or Indian healthcare regulations) is advantage.

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and frameworks like Node.js, Express.js, or similar.

- Expertise in PostgreSQL, including schema design, indexing, and performance tuning.

- Experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS) and Azure services (e.g., App Services, Blob Storage, Azure SQL).

- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and containerization (e.g., Docker).

- Familiarity with front-end technologies (e.g., React) is a plus.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines

Soft Skills :

- Strong problem-avoiding and analytical skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment with minimal supervision.
