Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Ciena Blue Planet Inventory Engineer/Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in telecom OSS/BSS environments and network inventory management. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience working on Ciena Blue Planet Inventory solutions, telecom transformation programs, and network inventory development activities.

The candidate will be responsible for supporting deployment, migration, and transformation initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional telecom and network engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, configure, and support Ciena Blue Planet Inventory solutions.

- Work on OSS/BSS solution deployment, migration, and transformation programs.

- Manage and maintain telecom network inventory systems and related integrations.

- Perform inventory development, customization, and enhancement activities.

- Collaborate with network engineering, operations, and business teams to onboard new network services and inventory components.

- Support integration of Blue Planet Inventory with OSS/BSS platforms and external systems.

- Analyze and troubleshoot inventory-related issues and provide technical resolutions.

- Participate in network transformation and automation initiatives.

- Develop and maintain scripts/tools using Python or Java for automation and integration activities.

- Ensure accurate inventory data management and synchronization across systems.

- Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and deployment guidelines.

- Provide support during production deployment, migration, and post-implementation activities.

Required Skills :

- 8+ years of hands-on experience in telecom OSS/BSS environments.

- Strong experience with Ciena Blue Planet Inventory platform.

- Good understanding of telecom network inventory management concepts.

- Experience in deployment, migration, and transformation programs.

- Strong knowledge of OSS/BSS architecture and telecom operations.

- Hands-on experience in inventory development and customization.

- Knowledge of networking concepts and network protocols.

- Programming experience in Python or Java.

- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

- Experience working in enterprise telecom/network environments.

- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
