Description :

As the Director of Engineering, you will lead the design, development, and scaling of mission-critical platforms that power our entire business including order management, inventory, warehousing, logistics, and multi-channel operations.

The ideal leader will bring strong systems-thinking, hands-on architectural depth, and proven experience building complex tech ecosystems in fast-growing environments.

What You'll Do :

Technology & Architecture Leadership :

- Drive architecture, design, and implementation of scalable, resilient systems across OMS, WMS, logistics, and inventory.

- Lead engineering teams to build microservices, event-driven workflows, and highly integrated systems.

- Make high-impact decisions on databases, infra, performance optimization, reliability, and scalability.

- Ensure robust system integrations across e-commerce, retail, ERP, 3PLs, and internal tools.

OMS / WMS Expertise :

- Build or enhance OMS covering routing, allocation logic, returns/exchanges, SLA-driven workflows, and multi-channel orchestration.

- Oversee WMS capabilities such as receiving, put-away, picking, packing, wave planning, dispatch, and live inventory sync.

- Partner closely with Supply Chain, Ops, Product & Retail teams to design efficient, tech-first operations.

- Implement automation and optimization for faster, error-free warehouse & fulfillment processes.

Execution & Delivery :

- Own engineering roadmap, release cycles, sprint velocity, and platform stability.

- Ensure strong engineering practices code quality, documentation, architecture reviews.

- Build monitoring, incident management, performance tuning, and release governance frameworks.

Leadership & People :

- Build, mentor, and scale high-performing engineering teams.

- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

- Collaborate cross-functionally to solve complex business problems with technology.

What You Bring to the Table :

- 8+ years of strong engineering experience with leadership of high-scale systems.

- Must have hands-on experience building or scaling OMS and WMS systems.

- Expertise in distributed systems, microservices, APIs, event-driven architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).

- Strong grip on system design, data modeling, and performance engineering.

- Experience working in e-commerce, D2C, retail, supply chain, or logistics domains.

- Proven ability to lead and grow engineering teams.
