Role Overview :

We are seeking a visionary and execution-focused Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to spearhead the technology strategy and digital innovation agenda of a leading not-for-profit organization. The role will play a pivotal part in leveraging technology to enhance the reach, effectiveness, and impact of programs focused on mental wellbeing, education, menstrual health, and community development.

The CTO will be responsible for building robust digital ecosystems, modernizing technology infrastructure, strengthening cybersecurity practices, and driving organization-wide digital transformation initiatives. This leader will ensure that technology serves as a key enabler of program delivery, stakeholder engagement, operational excellence, and measurable social impact.

Educational Qualifications :

- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

- Candidates with an MBA or MS in a technology-related specialization will also be considered.

Experience Required :

- 18 to 20 years of progressive experience across technology leadership roles.

- Demonstrated success in leading enterprise technology functions, infrastructure management, and digital transformation programs.

- Experience designing and scaling digital products, platforms, and technology-enabled ecosystems.

- Strong expertise in cloud technologies, enterprise architecture, software engineering, information security, and data management.

- Exposure to healthcare technology, digital wellbeing solutions, education technology, or social-sector initiatives will be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities :

Technology Strategy & Innovation :

- Define and execute a long-term technology vision aligned with organizational priorities and growth objectives.

- Develop a comprehensive technology roadmap that supports digital-first program delivery and stakeholder engagement.

- Evaluate emerging technologies and innovation opportunities that can strengthen organizational impact and scalability.

Digital Transformation & Platforms :

- Drive enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives across programs and operational functions.

- Lead the design, development, and enhancement of digital platforms that improve accessibility, engagement, and service delivery.

- Create seamless user journeys across awareness, onboarding, engagement, service utilization, and outcome measurement.

Technology Infrastructure & Security :

- Oversee the architecture, performance, reliability, and scalability of enterprise systems and cloud environments.

- Establish and maintain robust cybersecurity controls, governance frameworks, and risk management processes.

- Ensure business continuity, disaster recovery readiness, and proactive threat monitoring.

Stakeholder Collaboration :

- Partner closely with program, research, operations, and leadership teams to develop technology-enabled solutions.

- Translate complex technical concepts into actionable business recommendations and measurable outcomes.

- Manage relationships with technology vendors, implementation partners, consultants, and platform providers.

Team Leadership & Capability Building :

- Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing technology team.

- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, continuous learning, and operational excellence.

- Drive workforce capability development across digital, engineering, and technology functions.

Financial Management :

- Develop and manage technology budgets, investment plans, and resource allocation strategies.

- Ensure optimal utilization of technology spend while maximizing value creation and organizational impact.
