Role Overview :

We are hiring a Chief Technology Officer to lead technology function. The role involves overseeing a 28-29 member engineering team based in Kolkata, driving architecture, platform development, infrastructure, and engineering execution across the board.

We are seeking a seasoned technology leader with 12+ years of experience, strong backend/platform engineering credentials, and a track record in architecture and infrastructure leadership. A positive attitude, execution mindset, and ability to scale teams and systems are essential.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and scale the engineering function across backend, infrastructure, and platform teams

- Define and drive technology architecture and system design

- Oversee IT infrastructure, including datacenter, networking, and operations strategy

- Guide and mentor senior engineers, ensuring quality execution and delivery

- Align engineering efforts with business and platform goals

- Establish and uphold technical standards, processes, and documentation practices

- Enable cross-functional collaboration and lead tech decision-making

Requirements :

- 12+ years of total experience in technology roles, with strong C++ background

- Experience in platform and backend engineering at scale

- Proven track record in IT infrastructure leadership - data centers, networking, systems

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a bias toward action

- High level of ownership and a get-things-done attitude
