Key Responsibilities :

Establish & Lead India R&D Centre :

- Set up the India development centre including infrastructure, team structure, and operating processes.

- Build a high-performance engineering team aligned with the companys global goals and technical culture.

- Act as the primary point of leadership for all India-based engineering activities.

Drive Product Engineering & Delivery :

- Own the design, architecture, and delivery of core product components.

- Work closely with product and AI teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. Ensure development excellence, scalability, and security across all releases.

Hands-On Technical Leadership :

- Spend at least 7080% of time in coding, architecture reviews, or design sessions.

- Provide strong technical mentorship and direction to engineers.

- Lead by example with high-quality code, technical rigor, and innovation mindset.

Build & Mentor Teams :

- Hire top-tier engineers across backend, AI/ML, DevOps, and platform domains.

- Create an ownership-driven culture focused on innovation, collaboration, and accountability.

- Implement learning and growth programs to develop internal technical leadership.

Ensure Operational Excellence :

- Define and implement agile processes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps best practices.

- Establish key performance metrics for productivity, quality, and velocity.

- Maintain close alignment with the global product roadmap and delivery timelines.

Required Skills & Experience :

Technical Expertise :

1. 1220 years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in technical leadership or architect roles.

2. Proven track record in building scalable SaaS or cloud-native products (preferably in cybersecurity, AI, or automation domains).

3. Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Go, and experience with distributed systems, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

4. Deep understanding of system design, data pipelines, CI/CD, and cloud security.

Leadership Qualities :

1. Demonstrated ability to build and scale teams from the ground up.
