Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated QA Engineer Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SaaS-based products and a proven track record in leading QA teams. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our platform through rigorous testing and innovative QA methodologies.

Responsibilities :

- Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality deliverables.

- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases.

- Conduct thorough testing of REST APIs using various API testing methods.

- Utilise QA automation tools to streamline testing processes and enhance efficiency.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, ensuring timely and effective problem resolution.

- Apply BDD/TDD methodologies to drive high-quality software development and testing.

- Execute White Box and Black Box testing strategies to ensure complete coverage.

- Perform hands-on testing and troubleshooting on Unix-based systems.

- Write and maintain scripts in bash, Python, or other scripting languages to support testing activities.

- Manage and track defects using JIRA, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with development teams.

- Use Postman for API testing and validation.

- Work closely with development and product teams in an Agile environment to ensure smooth and efficient software release cycles.

- Continuously improve QA processes and methodologies to enhance overall product quality.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 3 - 7 years experience in QA, with a focus on SaaS-based products.

- Strong knowledge of REST APIs and API testing methods.

- Proficiency with QA automation tools and techniques.

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Solid understanding of BDD/TDD methodologies.

- Experience with White Box and Black Box testing strategies.

- Hands-on experience with Unix-based systems.

- Proficiency in scripting languages such as bash or Python.

- Extensive experience with JIRA and Postman.

- Familiarity with Agile development processes and software release cycles.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
