We are looking for a Senior Android Engineer to take end-to-end ownership of feature delivery for our driver ticketing platform. In this role, you will lead feature development, collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams, and drive the architecture, quality, and stability of the Android application while mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end feature delivery from design to stable release.

- Manage production issues and balance priorities between bug fixes and new features.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and ship scalable Android solutions.

- Maintain high engineering standards with clean, maintainable, and scalable code.

- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance.

- Improve overall Android app architecture for long-term scalability.

Requirements :

- Strong experience with Kotlin, Coroutines, Flows, and reactive programming.

- Solid understanding of Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, and MVVM/MVI patterns.

- Experience with Jetpack libraries such as ViewModel, Room, WorkManager, Navigation, and Dagger/Hilt.

- Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose and modern Android UI development.

- Understanding of REST APIs, offline caching, JSON/Protobuf parsing, and error handling.

- Experience with unit/UI testing using JUnit, Espresso, and MockK.

- Knowledge of app performance optimization, memory leak detection, ANRs, and network debugging.

- Good understanding of Android security practices and secure data handling.
