- We are seeking a motivated QA Engineer to support the testing and quality assurance of web-based applications for the digital infrastructure program.

- The role involves executing test plans, performing manual and automated testing, and ensuring that all software deliverables meet defined quality standards.

- This position offers exposure to complex enterprise and infrastructure-related systems and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams in an agile setup.

Key Responsibilities :

Test Execution & Validation :

- Perform manual and functional testing of web applications and portals.

- Prepare and execute test cases, test scripts, and regression test suites.

- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA / Azure DevOps.

- Validate UI functionality, performance, and usability across browsers.

Test Planning & Documentation :

- Assist in preparing test plans and test data for assigned modules.

- Maintain detailed documentation of test results and status reports.

- Support QA Lead in maintaining test coverage and traceability.

Collaboration & Support :

- Work closely with developers and business analysts to clarify requirements and verify fixes.

- Participate in sprint ceremonies (planning, reviews, retrospectives).

- Support UAT testing with business users.

Automation (Optional / Added Advantage) :

- Basic understanding of Selenium / Postman for automation or API testing.

- Write simple scripts for smoke or regression tests (if applicable).

Requirements :

Required Skills & Experience :

- 3 to 5 years of experience in software testing (preferably web-based applications).

- Hands-on experience with functional, UI, and regression testing.

- Familiar with tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar QA management systems.

- Basic knowledge of SQL for backend validation.

- Understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery cycles.

- Good analytical and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.

- Exposure to GIS or map-based applications is a plus.

- Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman or Swagger.

- Interest in learning automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress).
