CAW Studios - Software Engineer - Node.js

We are looking for Node.js developers with 1.5 to 5 years of experience to join our team. You will play a key role in building scalable backend systems, contributing to product development from scratch, and solving complex engineering problems. We value ownership, strong fundamentals, and smart design thinking.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js.

- Build clean, modular, and testable code following best practices.

- Work on projects from scratch, setting up architecture and core modules.

- Collaborate with front-end developers and cross-functional teams to deliver seamless products.

- Debug, optimize, and improve system performance.

- Contribute to code reviews, knowledge-sharing, and team best practices.

- Work with SQL/NoSQL databases and cloud environments.

Requirements :

- Strong hands-on coding in Node.js, experience in building APIs, debugging, and delivering production-grade systems.

- Good experience in building products from scratch, strong DSA and LLD exposure, and ability to design smart, scalable systems.

- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript with Node.js frameworks (NestJS/Express.js preferred).

- Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and clean coding practices.

- Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, etc.).

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and CI/CD pipelines.

- Knowledge of testing frameworks for unit/integration testing.

- Bonus : Exposure to SaaS products, distributed systems, or system design.
