Cashfree - Product Manager II

Role Overview :

We are looking for a PM2 to drive key initiatives within our payments stack, with a strong focus on card processing and/or cross-border payments. The role involves end-to-end ownership of product modules, working closely with engineering, banking partners, growth team and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

- Own and drive the product roadmap for assigned payments modules with a strong focus on delivering business outcomes

- Understand global payment trends, regulatory changes, and evolving ecosystem dynamics

- Identify new use cases and gather consumer insights, and work closely with acquiring partners, FX Partners, networks, and banking stakeholders

- Define PRDs with strong clarity on APIs, flows, edge cases, and reconciliation

- Improve authorization rates, reduce declines, and optimize transaction success

- Monitor key metrics and drive data-backed product decisions

- Collaborate with compliance, operations, and business teams

Required Experience :

- 2 to 4 years of product management experience

- Preferably hands-on exposure to Cards Processing (authorization, clearing, settlement, chargebacks)

- Alternatively, strong experience in Cross-Border Payments (FX flows, SWIFT, correspondent banking, remittance, etc.)

- Good understanding of payment flows, authorization lifecycle, disputes, settlements

- Strong execution capability and ability to operate in ambiguity
