Job Description

Senior Node.js Developer

Experience : 5+ years of overall experience.

Primary Skill : Node.js, AWS, CICD/Jenkins/GitHub Actions/CircleCI, Splunk/Dynatrace/CloudWatch

Secondary Skill : Exposure to JAVA & GenAI applications

Location : Bengaluru (Hybrid)

Shift : Afternoon Shift

Key Responsibilities :

- Build microservices on AWS using services like (not limited to) Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, S3, ECS, Glue, Event Bridge, SQS, SNS, etc.

- Ensure high performance, reliability, and cost efficiency of applications.

- Debug and resolve production issues within SLAs.

- Prepare and maintain HLD/LLD and technical documentation.

- Implement monitoring and tracing with CloudWatch, Dynatrace, Splunk, and AWS X-Ray.

- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Code Pipeline.

- Apply security best practices across IAM, Secrets Manager, and KMS.

- Use Infrastructure as Code tools such as CloudFormation, CDK, or Serverless Framework.

- Conduct automated testing using Mocha, Jest, and mocking tools.

- Collaborate through GitHub (PRs, reviews) and track delivery using Jira.

Primary Skills & Experience :

- 5+ years of backend development experience, primarily in Node.js (Java exposure is beneficial).

- Strong hands-on experience with like (not limited to) Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, S3, ECS, Glue, Event Bridge, SQS, SNS, etc.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD automation, and observability tools (Dynatrace, Splunk, CloudWatch).

- Understanding of security, IAM, and KMS concepts.

- Working knowledge of IaC (Serverless, CDK, or CloudFormation).

- Proficiency in GitHub for source control and Jira for Agile workflows.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with distributed, cross-geography teams.

Preferred Skills :

- Exposure to enterprise integrations (ERP, Order-to-Cash, AR cycles).

- Experience developing Python-based microservices or GenAI applications using RAG/MCP frameworks.
