About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer with - 8 years of experience to join our early-stage engineering team. The role focuses on building foundational infrastructure and scalable platform services that support a next-generation SaaS environment. This opportunity offers high ownership, hands-on engineering, and the ability to influence core architecture.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and maintain scalable platform services and microservices.

- Develop high-quality, production-ready backend components using Python.

- Architect and implement cloud-native infrastructure for platform scalability and performance.

- Build, enhance, and manage CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery.

- Drive automation across operations, deployments, and environment management.

- Implement monitoring, observability, and alerting frameworks for improved reliability.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define tech requirements and delivery milestones.

- Participate in code reviews and enforce engineering best practices.

- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for platform components.

- Contribute to building a strong DevOps culture within the engineering team.

Required Skillsets :

- Strong hands-on experience with Python for backend development.

- Expertise in designing and developing microservices and RESTful APIs.

- Proven experience with production-grade AI/ML platform integration.

- Strong understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native architecture.

- Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

- Practical experience with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.

- Strong DevOps skills, including CI/CD automation tools and practices.

- Familiarity with observability tools for logging, monitoring, and tracing.

- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals relevant to distributed systems.

- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.

- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.

- Masters degree preferred.

- 6 - 8 years of relevant software/platform engineering experience.

- Prior experience working on AI or production-scale platform systems.
