Servicenow ITOM Developer

Job Description :

ServiceNow ITOM modules :

- Design, implement, and maintain ServiceNow ITOM solutions, including :

ServiceNow ITOM solutions :

- Discovery

- Service Mapping

- Event Management

- Cloud Management (optional)

- Configure and manageMID Servers, Discovery schedules, and credentials

MID Servers :

- Integrate ServiceNow ITOM with third-party monitoring tools (e.g., SCOM, SolarWinds, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Nagios, Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch)

- Ensure accurate and optimized CMDB population, reconciliation, and health

CMDB population :

- Customize ITOM workflows, business rules, scripts, and dashboards

- Perform root cause analysis using Event Management and Service Mapping

Event Management and Service Mapping :

- Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams for onboarding services

- Troubleshoot Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management issues

- Support ITOM upgrades, patches, and platform enhancements

- Provide technical guidance to junior team members

- Participate in client discussions, solution design, and technical documentation

Requirements :

- 6- 11 years of overall IT experience with4+ years of ServiceNow ITOM experience

- 4+ years of ServiceNow ITOM experience

- Strong hands-on expertise in :

1. ServiceNow Discovery

2. Service Mapping

3. Event Management

4. CMDB & CSDM concepts

- Good understanding of :

1. Windows, Linux, Unix environments

2. Network devices (routers, switches, firewalls)

3. Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP preferred)

- Experience with :

1. REST/SOAP integrations

2. JavaScript (ServiceNow scripting)

- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

- ServiceNow Certifications :

1. CSA (Certified System Administrator)

2. CIS - ITOM

- Experience in CSDM implementation

- CSDM implementation

- Exposure to DevOps, APM, or Observability tools

- ITIL v3 / ITIL 4 certification
