Capgemini - Senior SQL Database Administrator

Job Description:

- Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience.

- Support SQL Database & Windows administration tasks and troubleshoot issues.

- Extensive experience in PL/SQL, SSIS, SSAS, Control-M, Windows, Python, Control-M and good debugging skills.

- Knowledge of Agile delivery processes and DevOps practices.

- Good knowledge of CICD pipeline & DevOps tooling such as Jenkins, Ansible, GitHub etc.

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage and maintain complex MS SQL Server environments to ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and optimal performance for enterprise-grade applications.

- Design and implement robust database solutions, including SSIS packages for ETL processes and SSAS cubes for advanced analytics, to support data-driven decision-making.

- Automate routine database maintenance and deployment tasks using Python scripting and Jenkins pipelines to reduce manual overhead and improve operational consistency.

- Collaborate with development teams in an Agile environment to optimize PL-SQL queries and database schemas, ensuring peak performance during high-traffic periods.

- Orchestrate complex batch processing and job scheduling using Control-M to maintain data integrity and timely delivery across integrated systems.

- Proactively monitor system health and security vulnerabilities on Windows Server platforms, applying patches and updates to safeguard sensitive organizational data.
