Capgemini - Senior Application Support Engineer

Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Senior Application Support & Enterprise Architecture Specialist to support, enhance, and administer the ABACUS Enterprise Architecture platform.

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in C# .NET, SQL Server, IIS administration, and application support, along with exposure to enterprise architecture tools and investment banking environments.

The role involves developing custom extensions for the ABACUS platform, providing L1/L2/L3 support, managing integrations, maintaining infrastructure, troubleshooting performance issues, developing reports and dashboards, and collaborating with architects, project managers, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

Application Development & Enhancement :

- Develop and maintain custom scripts/extensions using C# .NET for the ABACUS Enterprise Architecture platform.

- Reverse engineer existing applications and scripts to understand business rules and system functionality.

- Maintain and update technical and operational documentation.

- Design, develop, and consume APIs and integration interfaces between ABACUS and enterprise applications.

Application Support & Administration :

- Provide L1/L2/L3 support for the ABACUS application suite.

- Manage incident resolution, root cause analysis, and problem management activities.

- Monitor application health, KPIs, and system performance.

- Coordinate with vendors for issue resolution, upgrades, patching, and new feature implementations.

Infrastructure & Database Management :

- Administer IIS-hosted Microsoft web applications.

- Perform application deployments and regression testing.

- Manage and troubleshoot Microsoft SQL Server databases.

- Identify and resolve database and application performance bottlenecks.

Reporting & Analytics :

- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.

- Generate operational and management reports.

- Measure customer experience and service KPIs.

Enterprise Architecture Support :

- Work closely with Technical Architects, Data Architects, Functional Architects, and Project Managers.

- Maintain and update enterprise architecture models within ABACUS.

- Support architecture governance and repository management activities.
