We are hiring a BOM (Bill of Materials) Professional for our Salem location. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and managing BOMs that accurately reflect product design and manufacturing requirements. This role is essential for ensuring production efficiency, cost control, and product quality.

Key Responsibilities :

Create and Maintain BOMs :

- Develop structured BOMs in PLM/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Windchill).

- Ensure accurate documentation of components, subassemblies, and materials.

Collaboration :

- Coordinate with design engineers, manufacturing, procurement, and supply chain teams.

- Liaise with suppliers to verify specifications and availability.

Change Management :

- Handle Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and update BOMs accordingly.

- Maintain version control and documentation accuracy.

Process Improvement :

- Analyze BOM data for cost-saving opportunities.

- Support continuous improvement initiatives.

Compliance and Standards :

- Ensure BOMs meet company and industry standards.

Training and Support :

- Train team members on BOM best practices.

- Resolve BOM-related issues during production.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

- 1+ years of experience in BOM management or related roles.

- Proficiency in PLM and ERP systems.

- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and documentation.

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
