Job Summary :

API Test Automation & Frameworks :

- Create and execute automated test scripts for REST calls, APIs, and microservices to ensure robust integration.

- Utilize tools like Postman, SoapUI, or Insomnia for hands-on API testing and validation.

Performance Testing :

- Analyze performance metrics and provide detailed reports to development teams for optimization.

Collaboration & Quality Assurance:

- Participate in an Agile environment, including reviewing and editing API documentation to ensure accuracy.

- Understand DevOps deployment scenarios to build effective test cases that validate the entire CI/CD pipeline.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Core Experience :

Technical Proficiency :

- Proficiency in Java for writing automation tests.

- Expertise in integration testing of REST APIs, API calls, and microservices.

- Hands-on experience with performance testing tools like JMeter.

- Ability to create and maintain an API automation framework.

- Knowledge of an Angular application and its interaction with a REST API.

Professional Attributes :

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to build reference applications.

- The ability to review and edit API documentation and understand operational deployment scenarios.

Preferred Skills :

- Hands-on experience with Google DevTools.

- Experience with testing frameworks like Playwright, Cypress, or Puppeteer.
