Role Overview :

As a Senior Java Backend Developer at Cantik Technologies, you will be a key contributor to the design, development, and maintenance of our core backend systems. You will collaborate closely with product managers, frontend developers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions. Your work will directly impact the performance and reliability of our platform, ensuring seamless experiences for our clients and their customers.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop robust and scalable microservices using Java and related technologies to support our growing platform.

- Implement and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless integration with frontend applications and third-party services.

- Optimize database queries and schema design to ensure optimal performance and scalability.

- Implement security best practices, including authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth), to protect sensitive data.

- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and maintain service availability.

- Contribute to the development of automated testing frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of our software.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in Java development, with a deep understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.

- Proven ability to design and implement microservices architectures, including experience with service discovery, API gateways, and message queues.

- Strong proficiency in using Hibernate or other ORM frameworks for database interactions.

- Solid understanding of security principles and experience implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms, including OAuth.

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.

- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and to work collaboratively in a team environment.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Experience : 8 - 12 years.
