1. Expertise in Networking Protocols : Strong hands-on QA experience with TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, BGP, and in-depth understanding of Wifi, 4G/5G cellular network behavior.
2. Infrastructure & Security Validation : Proven capability in testing VLAN, LAN/WAN configurations, captive portals, and applying iptables/NFT-based network filtering rules.
3. End-to-End Functional & Regression Testing : Experience in comprehensive validation of router features across varying network configurations, including VPN (OpenVPN) and protocol-level regression cycles.

Job Summary :
We are seeking a dedicated Software Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of high-performance cellular routers and gateways. In this role, you will design and execute comprehensive test strategies for embedded systems running on Linux and RTOS platforms, validate wireless connectivity features (4G/5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth), and test user interfaces for router management. You'll collaborate with development teams to identify issues early and ensure world-class product quality. Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for embedded software systems in cellular routers, focusing on functionality, performance, and reliability (35%).
- Perform comprehensive testing of wireless connectivity features (4G/5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth) and network protocols across different environments and configurations (25%).
- Test web-based user interfaces for router configuration, monitoring, and management functionality, ensuring usability and cross-platform compatibility (20%). - Collaborate with development teams to identify, document, and track defects through resolution, and participate in root cause analysis (15%).
- Maintain and enhance automated test frameworks and contribute to continuous integration and testing processes (5%).
Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance, testing, or related technical role.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test case design, and defect management processes.
- Experience with testing embedded systems, networking equipment, or hardware-software integrated products.
- Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS) and wireless technologies testing.
- Familiarity with Linux environments and command-line tools for testing and debugging.
- Experience with test management tools, bug tracking systems, and version control.
