Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead / Technical Manager to drive the end-to-end delivery of our product and platform initiatives. This role will play a critical part in translating business and product requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performance technical solutions while leading engineering teams and ensuring delivery excellence.

The ideal candidate will combine hands-on technical depth, people leadership, and strong execution ownership, working closely with Product, QA, Architecture, and Business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

Technical Leadership & Architecture :

- Own the technical design and architecture of assigned products, platforms, or client solutions.

- Lead solutioning decisions including technology stack, system design, integrations, performance, scalability, and security.

- Review and approve technical designs, code, and deployment strategies.

- Ensure adherence to engineering best practices, coding standards, and architecture guidelines.

Delivery & Execution :

- Drive end-to-end project execution including planning, estimation, sprint execution, releases, and post-production support.

- Partner with Product Managers to translate product roadmaps into executable technical plans.

- Identify delivery risks early and proactively mitigate technical or execution challenges.

- Ensure on-time, high-quality delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives.

Team Leadership & Mentorship :

- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers across skill levels.

- Conduct regular code reviews, design reviews, and technical knowledge sessions.

- Set clear goals, provide feedback, and ensure team accountability.

- Support hiring, onboarding, and performance development of technical team members.

Stakeholder Collaboration :

- Act as the primary technical point of contact for internal stakeholders and leadership.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, DevOps, Security, and Business.

- Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders when required.

Governance & Quality :

- Ensure compliance with internal SDLC, security, data privacy, and regulatory standards.

- Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, tools, and delivery metrics.

- Participate in audits, reviews, and leadership reporting as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Experience :

- 8+ years of overall software engineering experience.

- 3+ years in a Technical Lead, Engineering Lead, or Technical Manager role.

- Proven experience leading medium-to-large engineering teams and complex projects.

Technical Competency (must have) :

- Strong hands-on experience in modern application development (backend, frontend, or full-stack).

- Solid understanding of :

a. System design and architecture

b. REST / API-based integrations

c. Cloud platforms - AWS

d. CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

- Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery environments.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with healthcare, SaaS, enterprise platforms, or regulated environments.

- Exposure to microservices, containerization, and (AWS) cloud-native architectures.

- Experience working with global or distributed teams.

Engagement Model :

- Full-time : Permanent role with leadership ownership and long-term roadmap responsibility.

- Contract : Fixed-term or long-term contract with delivery ownership and team leadership expectations similar to full-time.
