Job Title : C++ Engineer with Networking Skills

Experience : 3 to 8 years

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled C++ Engineer with Networking expertise to design, develop, and test high-performance applications, with a focus on networking and Web API features. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills in C++, hands-on experience with networking protocols, and exposure to automated testing for large-scale systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain test code in C++ for various Network Library features in PlayStation.

- Automate testing processes using scripting languages or automation tools.

- Perform regression QA for Networking and Web API-related areas.

- Debug, optimize, and enhance test frameworks and libraries.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify issues, provide solutions, and ensure system stability.

- Review existing Python-based test suites to understand current automation frameworks.

- Document code, test plans, and QA processes for future scalability.

Mandatory Skills :


- Strong proficiency in C++ programming (including debugging and optimization).


- Experience with Networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, Sockets).

- Exposure to Web APIs (RESTful APIs, JSON, XML).

- Hands-on experience in developing test code and automation frameworks.

- Basic knowledge of Python for referencing existing test suites.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Good to Have Skills :

- Experience in PlayStation or Gaming Console environments.

- Knowledge of test automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Robot Framework, or custom frameworks).

- Understanding of OS-level networking (Linux/Windows).

- Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices.

Educational Qualification :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
