Job Description :

Role & Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain software components using C/C++ and Modern C++ for Linux and Windows platforms.

- Develop and optimize TCP/IP network communication and socket programming components.

- Implement and maintain client-server architecture and communication protocols.

- Work on system-level programming, including multithreading, synchronization, IPC, and system internals.

- Contribute to BACnet stack development and protocol implementation.

- Develop and maintain cross-platform build systems using CMake and Makefiles.

- Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and crash/core-dump analysis using GDB, WinDbg, and similar tools.

- Develop and maintain test automation scripts using Python and/or Perl.

- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and Agile/Scrum development activities.

- Ensure high-quality, reliable, and maintainable software through unit testing and troubleshooting.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in C/C++ software development, including Modern C++.

- Strong understanding of OOP, design patterns, algorithms, and software architecture.

- Strong hands-on experience in TCP/IP, socket programming, network programming, and client-server architecture.

- Good experience with Linux and Windows system programming.

- Strong understanding of multithreading, synchronization, IPC, and system internals.

- Hands-on experience with CMake and Makefiles.

- Experience using GDB, WinDbg, or similar debugging tools.

- Experience in protocol/communication stack development is highly preferred.

- Exposure to Python/Perl scripting and test automation.

- Experience in cross-platform software development.

- Knowledge of BACnet or other building/industrial automation protocols will be an added advantage.

- Good communication, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- BE/B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related engineering discipline.
