Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced C++ Developer with strong expertise in Qt and QML to design, develop, and maintain high-performance desktop applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with modern C++ standards, Qt Widgets, QML, multithreading, and object-oriented programming principles. The role requires building scalable, robust, and user-friendly applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance desktop applications using C++ and Qt.

- Develop intuitive and responsive user interfaces using Qt Widgets and QML.

- Write clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.

- Implement application features using modern C++ standards including C++11, C++14, C++17, and C++20.

- Develop multithreaded applications to improve performance and responsiveness.

- Design and implement efficient data structures and algorithms for optimal application performance.

- Apply object-oriented programming principles and software design patterns to build scalable solutions.

- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application defects using profiling and debugging tools.

- Optimize application performance, memory utilization, and execution efficiency.

- Collaborate with product managers, architects, QA engineers, and UI/UX teams throughout the development lifecycle.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving software quality and maintainability.

- Develop unit tests and support integration, system, and regression testing activities.

- Maintain technical documentation and provide production support when required.

- Work with version control systems to manage source code and collaborative development.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.

Required Skillsets :

- Strong proficiency in C++ with hands-on experience in C++11, C++14, C++17, and C++20.

- Extensive experience in Qt Framework versions 5 and 6.

- Strong expertise in Qt Widgets and QML development.

- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in C++ application development.

- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.

- Expertise in Standard Template Library (STL).

- Strong knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, synchronization, and memory management.

- Excellent understanding of data structures and algorithms.

- Experience implementing software design patterns and architectural best practices.

- Proficiency in debugging, profiling, and performance optimization tools.

- Experience with Git and GitLab for version control and collaborative development.

- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).

- Experience working in Agile or Scrum development environments.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skillsets :

- Experience in imaging application development.

- Knowledge of graphics programming and rendering concepts.

- Familiarity with cross-platform desktop application development.

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

- Experience with automated testing frameworks.

- Knowledge of Linux application development and shell scripting.

- Understanding of software architecture and system design principles.

- Exposure to embedded systems or hardware integration is an added advantage.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology.

- Equivalent technical qualifications with relevant industry experience will also be considered.
