C/C++ Engineer/Lead - System Design

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced C/C++ Developer with strong expertise in software architecture, system design, and enterprise-grade product development.

This role will involve leading design discussions, conducting architecture reviews, collaborating with stakeholders, and driving high-performance, scalable solutions.

You will play a critical role in shaping product architecture and guiding engineering teams to deliver secure, high-quality, and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Conduct architecture reviews, design solutions, and oversee code reviews across engineering teams.

- Collaborate with product managers, business groups, and stakeholders to define and document technical requirements.

- Stay updated with the latest domain technologies and apply them to improve product features and solutions.

- Develop and own architectural roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business and client strategies.

- Communicate proposed designs/solutions to stakeholders clearly and effectively.

- Analyze current technological solutions and propose alternatives where required.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 810+ years of technical experience, with at least 3+ years as a Lead Developer.

- Extensive experience designing and architecting software solutions for large enterprises.

- Hands-on experience developing mid-to-large scale commercial software products in C/C++.

- Strong knowledge of Windows OS architecture and Networking.

- For C++ Programmer track : Experience in Windows Driver Development is mandatory.

- For C Programmer track : Strong expertise in C programming (drivers not mandatory).

- Experience designing Endpoint Security / Enterprise-grade products focusing on performance, scalability, and security.

- Exposure to cloud-based architectures, including concepts of elasticity and scalability.

- Knowledge of multiple programming/scripting languages beyond C/C++ is an advantage.

- Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

- Patents/publications in relevant domains will be a plus.

Nice to Have :

- Experience migrating legacy applications to the cloud.

- Experience with security-focused architectures and frameworks.

- Prior exposure to enterprise endpoint products
