About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced C/C++ Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance software solutions for COOH in a mission-critical, high-availability environment. The role requires strong expertise in C++ development, coupled with hands-on experience in C#/.NET technologies and MS-SQL, to support large scale transactional systems operating in a 24x7 production environment.

The ideal candidate will be technically strong, detail-oriented, and capable of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and efficient software solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

Software Design & Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable software solutions using C/C++.

- Build and enhance application components using C# and .NET Framework / .NET 6+, including WinForms, web services, and APIs.

- Participate in system design discussions and contribute to technical architecture decisions.

Performance & Reliability :

- Ensure high performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications in a high-volume, 24x7 transactional processing environment.

- Identify performance bottlenecks, conduct root cause analysis, and implement optimizations.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues with minimal downtime.

Database & Data Management :

- Develop and optimize database interactions using MS-SQL.

- Write efficient queries, stored procedures, and scripts to support transactional workloads.

- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and performance across systems.

Code Quality & Maintenance :

- Maintain high standards of code quality, organization, and documentation.

- Perform code reviews and follow best practices for version control and branching.

- Contribute to automation initiatives related to build, deployment, and testing.

Collaboration & Delivery :

- Collaborate closely with product managers, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams to define, design,

and ship new features.

- Use Jira for task tracking and Git for source code management.

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

- Strong proficiency in C/C++ with hands-on experience in building production-grade systems.

- Solid experience in C# with .NET Framework and .NET 6+.

- Hands-on knowledge of WinForms, web services, and RESTful APIs.

- Strong proficiency with MS-SQL, including performance tuning and query optimization.

- Experience using Git for version control and Jira for project and issue tracking.

- Proven experience working in high-volume, 24x7 transactional processing environments.

Domain Experience :

- Experience with NCPDP D0 standards and pharmacy claims processing is highly desirable.
