Business Intelligence Architect - SQL

Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Business Intelligence Architect with strong expertise in Power BI, SQL, and enterprise BI architecture to drive large-scale analytics and reporting transformation initiatives.

The ideal candidate should possess deep understanding of modern BI ecosystems, enterprise data visualization strategies, reporting architecture, dashboard optimization, and BI platform migration projects.

This role requires strong technical leadership, stakeholder management capabilities, and the ability to design scalable business intelligence solutions aligned with enterprise data strategies.

The candidate should have hands-on expertise in Power BI architecture, advanced SQL development, BI modernization, and migration programs across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and architect scalable Business Intelligence and Analytics solutions for enterprise reporting and decision-making needs.

- Lead end-to-end Power BI architecture, dashboard strategy, data visualization frameworks, and reporting optimization initiatives.

- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, data models, semantic layers, and enterprise reporting structures.

- Drive BI modernization and migration projects from legacy or other BI tools to Power BI platforms.

- Define enterprise BI standards, governance frameworks, security models, and best practices across reporting environments.

- Work closely with business stakeholders, data engineering teams, analytics teams, and leadership to understand reporting requirements and deliver scalable solutions.

- Build interactive dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, and advanced visualization solutions aligned with business objectives.

- Evaluate and implement the latest Power BI features, capabilities, and enterprise analytics enhancements.

- Ensure performance optimization, scalability, data accuracy, and high availability of BI solutions.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support enterprise data transformation and analytics initiatives.

- Drive architecture reviews, technical governance, solution design discussions, and capability-building initiatives.

- Mentor and guide BI developers, analysts, and technical teams on architecture standards and best practices.

Required Skills :

- Very strong expertise in Power BI and SQL.

- Strong understanding of Business Intelligence Architecture and enterprise analytics landscape.

- Hands-on experience with the latest Power BI features, capabilities, and enterprise implementations.

- Experience in BI migration projects from one reporting/analytics tool to another.

- Strong expertise in data modeling, dashboard optimization, visualization best practices, and reporting governance.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and performance optimization capabilities.

- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Mandatory Certification :

- Power BI Certification is mandatory.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau, Qlik, or similar analytics platforms.

- Exposure to cloud-based analytics ecosystems and enterprise data platforms pre
