Job Description : Business Analyst (BA)

Position Overview :

We are looking for a highly skilled Business Analyst (BA) with 5-10 years of experience to drive business process improvements, implement new systems, and help us achieve operational excellence in the logistics domain. The BA will collaborate closely with stakeholders, project managers, and IT teams to gather requirements, analyze data, and translate business needs into effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Elicit, document, and manage business requirements from various stakeholders, ensuring they align with company objectives.

- Work closely with technical teams to design, develop, and implement solutions that enhance business operations.

- Serve as a liaison between business units and IT to ensure seamless communication and execution of projects.

- Analyze data to provide actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making.

- Develop business cases, process flows, and functional specifications to support system enhancements.

- Lead change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of new technologies and processes.

- Collaborate on project management tasks, including timeline development, scope management, and progress reporting.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 5 -10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in logistics, supply chain management, or a

related industry.

- Strong experience with business process modeling, workflow analysis, and process improvement methodologies.

- Excellent understanding of logistics, freight forwarding, warehousing, and transportation operations.

- Ability to interpret complex business problems and translate them into actionable technical solutions.

- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including SQL, Excel, and BI tools.

- Experience with ERP, WMS, and logistics management systems is highly desirable.

- Strong project management skills and familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications :

- Certifications like Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or PMI-PBA are a plus.

Bonus Skills :

- Familiarity with T-SQL or other database query languages.

- Knowledge of global logistics regulations and compliance standards.
