Role Overview :

We are seeking a talented Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of business processes, data analysis, stakeholder management, and software development life cycles (SDLC/Agile). You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and ensure successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities :

- Work with stakeholders, SMEs, and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.

- Translate business needs into detailed functional and non-functional requirements, use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

- Facilitate workshops, meetings, and interviews to identify business challenges and opportunities.

- Collaborate with product owners, developers, testers, and UX/UI teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements.

- Support the creation of BRDs, FRDs, process flows, mockups, wireframes, and solution documentation.

- Perform gap analysis, impact analysis, and feasibility studies.

- Assist in UAT planning, execution, and defect tracking.

- Work on data analysis, dashboards, and reports using tools like Excel, SQL, or BI tools.

- Ensure alignment of solutions with business goals and compliance with internal standards and regulations.

Required Skills :

- 4 to 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT/software/consulting domains.

- Strong knowledge of requirements elicitation techniques (interviews, surveys, workshops, JAD sessions).

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for preparing documentation and stakeholder presentations.

Hands-on experience with tools such as :

- JIRA, Confluence, or Azure DevOps

- MS Excel, PowerPoint, and basic SQL

- Visio, Lucidchart, or any diagramming tool

- Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum and/or Waterfall methodologies.

- Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).

- Ability to analyze and interpret data and KPIs for business insights.

Preferred Domain Experience (any one or more) :

- BFSI (Banking/Finance)

- Healthcare

- Retail/eCommerce

- ERP/CRM Systems (e.g., Salesforce, Dynamics 365)

- Telecom or Supply Chain

Certifications (Preferred but not Mandatory) :

- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)

- PMI-PBA, CCBA, or Agile BA certifications

- Scrum Master (CSM) or Product Owner (CSPO) is a plus
