Location : India,Pune.

- Were looking for a Database developer who is an excellent SQL programmer and has very good experience with Query optimization.

- In this role, you will be expected to work autonomously and contribute to several high impact projects including optimizing all application touchpoints with the database systems.

- You will need to work in Central time 7:30 am to 5 pm IST

- 6 PM to 3:30 AM IST during DST and needs to work in Central time 7:30 am to 5 pm i.

- 7 PM to 4:30 AM IST during DST savings.

- You will be part of a team which will have on-call duties outside CST business hours as well, and you will need to respond to high-priority incident pager.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To :

- 3+ years of experience working with MS-SQL Programming including Query tuning and troubleshooting, Performance Optimization, Execution plan analysis.

- Extensive experience with Advanced SQL Features like Indexing, Partitioning decisions to balance scale and consistency, etc.

- Ability to train and mentor applications developers on best database practices.

- Ability to participate in and contribute to code management in GitHub.

- Actively collaborating in peer-reviews, feature branches, and resolving conflicts and commits.

- Experience with continuous integration and delivery.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Experience with microservices, Kafka and NoSQL databases would be nice to have.

Must Have Skills :

- 3+ years of proficiency with MS-SQL and Postgres-SQL.

- 1+ years of experience working with PowerShell.

- Solid understanding of database best practices.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills :

- Exposure to data security and governance best practices.

- Experience with distributed data processing systems.

- Strong understanding of performance optimization techniques for data queries.

- Exposure to NoSQL and Azure is a plus.
