Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to manage and optimize production applications supporting enterprise customers.

The role requires strong expertise in DevOps, Kubernetes, deployment automation, infrastructure as code, monitoring and production reliability.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technical expert capable of resolving complex infrastructure issues, improving deployment processes, implementing AI-driven automation and mentoring engineering teams to ensure secure, scalable and highly available systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the deployment, maintenance and optimization of production applications, ensuring high availability, scalability, security and reliability.

- Design and enhance deployment automation, monitoring, logging and alerting infrastructure.

- Build and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes, including production-ready cluster configurations.

- Implement and maintain infrastructure as code and configuration management using Terraform, Ansible, Puppet or equivalent tools.

- Design, optimize and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing processes and deployment strategies.

- Identify opportunities to implement AI-driven automation across DevOps, observability and incident management.

- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex production issues and drive root cause analysis and resolution.

- Manage Linux-based systems and troubleshoot infrastructure, application and database-related issues.

- Optimize relational database performance, including SQL troubleshooting and performance tuning for PostgreSQL, Oracle or similar databases.

- Implement observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager and related monitoring tools.

- Manage search and analytics platforms such as Elasticsearch or OpenSearch.

- Configure and support secure authentication and access management using SAML and OIDC.

- Collaborate with R&D, Support, Security and other engineering teams to resolve technical challenges and deliver reliable solutions.

- Evaluate emerging DevOps tools and industry best practices to improve operational efficiency.

- Mentor junior engineers, review code and configurations, and provide technical guidance on complex challenges.

Required Skills and Experience :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

- 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or related technical operations roles.

- Strong hands-on expertise in Docker and Kubernetes, including production cluster design and management.

- Experience with Kubernetes deployment tools such as Helm, Kustomize and Argo CD.

- Proficiency in Python, Bash or similar scripting languages, with strong software engineering fundamentals.

- Advanced SQL skills and experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or Oracle, including performance tuning and troubleshooting.

- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and system administration.

- Experience with infrastructure as code and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible or Puppet.

- Strong understanding of production reliability, deployment automation, system security and performance optimization.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience building AI agents, workflows or automation solutions for DevOps and operational processes.

- Hands-on experience designing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI or similar tools.

- Strong Git expertise, including branching strategies and workflow management.

- Experience with Elasticsearch, OpenSearch or similar search and analytics platforms.

- Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools, including Prometheus, Grafana and Alertmanager.

- Experience configuring Single Sign-On (SSO) using SAML and OIDC.

- Experience mentoring engineers and driving technical improvements across teams.

- Excellent problem-solving, communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile :

A technically strong DevOps professional with extensive experience in production-grade environments, Kubernetes orchestration, infrastructure automation and system reliability.

The candidate should demonstrate strong troubleshooting capabilities, an ownership mindset and the ability to lead technical improvements while enabling teams through mentoring and automation.
