Designation : PowerBI Lead.

Work Location : Hyderabad (Hybrid).

Experience : 8 to 12 years.

Responsibilities :

- Understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for Power BI reports and dashboards.

- Design, develop, and publish interactive dashboards using Power BI (Power BI Desktop & Power BI Service).

- Integrate data from various sources including SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, and cloud-based sources (Azure, etc).

- Build and optimize data models (star/snowflake schema) and DAX queries for performance and usability.

- Develop and manage ETL processes using Power Query, Dataflows, or Azure Data Factory.

- Implement row-level security (RLS) and access controls within Power BI reports.

- Perform data validation and ensure accuracy of reports and dashboards.

- Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and data engineers to ensure report alignment with business goals.

- Monitor Power BI service performance and schedule dataset refreshes.

- Stay up-to-date with Power BI updates, best practices, and industry trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

- 8+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI report and dashboard development.

- Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M language), and data modeling.

- Strong SQL skills ability to write complex queries and optimize them.

- Experience in integrating Power BI with cloud data sources (e.g., Azure SQL, Data Lake).

- Familiarity with Power BI Gateway, Power BI Report Server (optional), and Workspace Management.

- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and relational databases.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Microsoft Power BI cerrtifications.

- Exposure to other BI tools like Tableau or QlikView (optional).

- Experience working in Agile or Scrum teams.
