Job Reports to : Director of Network Operations.
Summary :
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting Mizuho Americas network infrastructure, with a specialty focus on DNS platform support.

- BlueCat Edge DNS
- F5 GTM
Major Responsibilities :
- Design, support and implement DNS solutions using BlueCat Address Manager, BlueCat DNS/DHCP Server, and BlueCat DNS Edge.
- Configure and maintain DNS zones, records, policies, and profiles Test, debug, conduct
performance analysis, and document network infrastructure components.
- Monitor and optimize DNS performance, availability, and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve DNS issues and incidents.
- Ensure DNS security and compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Document DNS configurations, processes, and procedures Capacity management of network
infrastructure.
- Ensure that plans for the network integrate effectively with other aspects of the technical
infrastructure.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of network infrastructure required for new projects.
- Collaborate closely with Operational teams to resolve issues, and propose new solutions.
- Assist in providing production support escalated from the Network Operations team.
- Participate in a 24/7/365 weekly on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Technical or engineering, or computer science or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience supporting computer networks in a mission-critical environment.
- 7+ years of experience in DNS administration and engineering.
- 7+ years of experience in BlueCat DNS products and services.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment supporting real-time market data and trading.
- Certification and/or training with vendor-neutral or vendor-specific focus.
- Basic understanding of operating system administration (Windows and Linux).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Certification in BlueCat DNS products and services is a plus.
- Prior experience with InfoBlox can be considered.
