We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive BizTalk Developer to join our dynamic healthcare technology team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, deployment, and support of integration solutions using Microsoft BizTalk Server.

This role requires a strong technical background in BizTalk, extensive experience with BizTalk migrations, robust web services knowledge, and proficiency in SQL Server.

The candidate should possess excellent soft skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to ensuring high availability of critical healthcare processes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design & Development : Lead the design and development of complex integration solutions using Microsoft BizTalk Server for various healthcare systems and applications.

- BizTalk Migration : Plan, execute, and oversee BizTalk environment migrations, ensuring seamless transitions with minimal disruption.

- Web Services Integration : Develop and consume web services (SOAP, REST) to facilitate data exchange between diverse platforms.

- Database Management : Work extensively with SQL Server for data storage, retrieval, and optimization related to BizTalk integrations.

- Troubleshooting & Support : Provide expert-level support for BizTalk integrations, diagnosing and resolving production issues efficiently.

- Proactive Problem Solving : Identify potential issues in BizTalk environments and integration processes, suggesting and implementing proactive solutions.

- Automation : Focus on automating monitoring and alerting mechanisms, particularly to reduce manual oversight (e.g., automating alerts from BizTalk360 to minimize constant vigilance).

- Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all developed solutions and configurations.

- Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, support, and business stakeholders, to deliver robust and scalable solutions.

- On-Call & Maintenance : Participate in a shift schedule providing support, and contribute to monthly patching activities during designated weekends.

Required Technical Skills :

- Microsoft BizTalk Server : Minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience with BizTalk Server (preferably recent versions like 2016, 2020), including :

- Schema design (XSD), mapping (XSLT), and orchestrations.

- Adapters (e.g., FILE, FTP, SFTP, SQL, HTTP, WCF, MSMQ).

- Pipelines and custom pipeline components.

- BRE (Business Rule Engine) and BAM (Business Activity Monitoring).

- Deployment and administration of BizTalk applications.

- BizTalk Migration : Proven experience in planning and executing BizTalk Server migrations from older versions to newer ones.

Web Services : Strong understanding and practical experience with Web Services (SOAP, REST, WCF), including :

- Designing and implementing WCF services for BizTalk.

- Consuming external web services from BizTalk orchestrations.

- Understanding of service contracts, data contracts, and security.

SQL Server : Proficient in SQL Server database development and administration, including :

- Writing complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions.

- Database schema design and optimization.

- Performance tuning of SQL queries related to BizTalk.

- Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) is a plus.

- C#/.NET : Solid programming skills in C# and the .NET framework for developing custom BizTalk components and utilities.

- Healthcare Standards (Preferred) : Familiarity with healthcare data exchange standards like HL7, X12 (specifically 270/271, 276/277, 834, 837), FHIR, and EDIFACT is highly desirable.

- Monitoring Tools : Experience with BizTalk360 or similar BizTalk monitoring tools.

- Scripting : Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation tasks.

Experience :

- Overall Experience : 5 to 10 years of experience in software development, with a minimum of 6+ years specifically as a BizTalk Developer.

- Industry Experience : Prior experience in the healthcare domain is highly preferred
