Bitkraft Technologies LLP are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with strong expertise in Python (Django and FastAPI frameworks) to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing scalable backend systems, writing robust APIs and performing automated testing using Pytest and Request Testing Frameworks. Essential Skills :

- 5 years of hands-on experience in backend development.

- Strong proficiency in Python, with solid experience in Django and FastAPI frameworks.

- Basic understanding of Java.

- Experience with Pytest and Request frameworks for automated testing.

- Knowledge of RESTful API design principles.

- Familiarity with relational databases like PostgreSQL / MySQL.

- Understanding of Git, Docker, and deployment workflows.

- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Other Essential Skills/Requirements :

- Great attention to detail

- Should be able to dictate, manage, track progress of the team

- Conduct code reviews

- Ability to work with the project management team for essential project management

- Experience in working in Agile projects - with familiarity with tools such Jira

- Ready to work on technologies, platforms and frameworks as required on future projects

- Strong work ethic and commitment to meet deadlines and support team members meet goals

- Be flexible with working across time zones with overseas customers if required

Desirable Skills :

- Experience with Celery, Redis, or AWS services.

- Exposure to microservices architecture.

- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and testing automation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Django and FastAPI.

- Collaborate with front-end developers and other teams to integrate user-facing elements.

- Write clean, reusable, and testable code following best practices.

- Implement and manage unit and integration tests using Pytest and Request frameworks.

- Optimize application performance and ensure scalability.

- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and deployment processes.

- Maintain proper documentation for APIs, endpoints, and services.
