BiteSpeed - Technical Lead - Node.js/Express.js

Job Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, ensuring delivery of high-quality and scalable solutions.

- Architect, design, and implement backend systems with MongoDB, Mongoose, PostgreSQL, and Express.js.

- Drive development and optimization of microservices-based architectures.

- Implement and manage multithreaded applications ensuring performance and reliability.

- Apply strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs) principles in system design and development.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, QA) to align technical and business goals.

- Ensure best practices in code quality, security, testing, and DevOps pipelines.

- Handle sprint planning, technical documentation, and task prioritization.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- 4- 10 years of software development experience with 2+ years in a leadership role.

- Strong hands-on expertise with :

1. MongoDB, Mongoose, PostgreSQL

2. Express.js & Node.js

3. Microservices architecture

4. Multithreading

5. OOPs principles

- Experience with system design, scalability, and performance tuning.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make technical decisions under pressure.

- Excellent communication skills to guide and align teams.
