Technical Lead (Founding Team) - Remote

About the Role :

As a Technical Lead, you will be a cornerstone of our founding team, directly shaping our product's technical vision and execution. You will be responsible for architecting scalable systems, establishing robust DevOps practices, building and mentoring a high-performing engineering team, and making critical prioritization decisions in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

What Youll Do :

- Scale Engineering : Architect and implement solutions to take our platform from 10M requests per day to 100M requests per day. This involves reimagining scalable and reusable system components.

- DevOps Leadership : Establish and champion robust DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines to ensure discipline, efficiency, and rapid iteration in our development process.

- Team Building & Mentorship : Lead the effort to build a dream engineering team, identifying, recruiting, and onboarding top talent. You'll then mentor, guide, and empower team members, ensuring they are placed in roles where they can excel and contribute maximally.

- Prioritization & Delegation : Make critical decisions on technical debt vs. new feature development, effectively prioritizing and delegating tasks to optimize resource utilization and meet business requirements within tight deadlines.

Required Skills :

- Database Expertise : Strong hands-on experience with MongoDB and Mongoose, and PostgreSQL.

- Architecture : Proven experience with Microservices architecture.

- Core Concepts : Deep understanding and practical application of Multithreading and Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs) principles.

- Frameworks : Proficiency with Express.js.

- Problem-Solving : Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to autonomously "figure stuff out" in ambiguous situations.

- Leadership : Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives and potentially mentor or manage a small team.
