Job Summary :

Birlasoft is seeking a visionary Oracle EBS Architect to lead the technical evolution of our enterprise solutions.

With over a decade of specialized experience, you will be responsible for the end-to-end architectural integrity of Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.x) environments.

This role demands a high-level strategist capable of executing complex system upgrades, orchestrating cloud migrations to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and ensuring seamless cross-platform integrations within a global delivery model.

Key Responsibilities :

Enterprise Solution Architecture :

- Design and maintain high-availability, multi-tier architectures for core EBS modules (Financials, SCM, HRMS).

- Develop robust integration strategies for third-party applications using Oracle SOA Suite, REST/SOAP Web Services, and Business Event Systems.

Cloud Transformation & Upgrades :

- Architect and execute "Lift & Shift" or "Re-platform" strategies for Oracle EBS to OCI migration using tools like EBS Cloud Manager.

- Lead R12.2 upgrades, managing technical complexities such as Online Patching (ADOP) and dual file system synchronization.

Performance Engineering & Tuning :

- Conduct deep-dive performance analysis using AWR, ASH, and ADDM reports to identify and resolve system bottlenecks.

- Optimize the concurrent processing tier, Forms/Web services, and Oracle Database (SGA/PGA) for high-concurrency workloads.

Technical Governance & Security :

- Define coding standards and review technical designs for OA Framework (OAF), Workflow, and PL/SQL customizations.

- Implement enterprise-grade security protocols, including SSL/TLS configuration, DMZ setups, and Row-Level Security (RLS).

Stakeholder Leadership :

- Translate complex business requirements from functional consultants into scalable technical blueprints.

- Provide architectural oversight and mentorship to global development teams to ensure compliance with best practices.

Technical Must-Have Skills :

- Oracle EBS Core : Extensive expertise in Oracle R12 (12.1.3 / 12.2.x) architecture and technology stack.

- Development Tools : Mastery of PL/SQL, Oracle Forms/Reports, Workflow Builder, and OA Framework (OAF).

- Middleware & Infrastructure : Deep knowledge of Oracle WebLogic Server, Oracle HTTP Server (Apache-based), and Linux/Unix system administration.

- Cloud Expertise : Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), including VCN configuration, Load Balancers, and Compute/DBaaS provisioning.

- Database : Advanced proficiency in Oracle Database (12c/19c) administration and tuning within an EBS context.

Technical Stack :

- App Tier : WebLogic, Forms Services, Concurrent Manager

- Languages : SQL, PL/SQL, Java (for OAF/BC4J), Unix Shell Scripting

Preferred Qualifications :

- Certifications : Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle EBS R12 Architecture certified.

- Agile/DevOps : Experience implementing EBS development pipelines using Jenkins, Git, or Ansible.

- Modernization : Familiarity with Oracle APEX for EBS extensions or migrating towards Oracle Fusion Cloud
