The BI Developer is a T2 individual contributor role focused on building and enhancing user-facing dashboard for Corporate Tech. This role partners with product managers, designers, architects, back-end developers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into responsive, accessible, and scalable dashboard experiences. The role is responsible for delivering high-quality UI components and application features while following engineering standards, security requirements, and enterprise design patterns.

This role emphasizes developing modern front-end applications using technologies such as Power BI & Analytics Development. This role would be primarily focus on

- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.

- Develop data models and DAX calculations.

- Implement Power BI embedded analytics.

- Optimise performance and usability.

Operating in a global environment, the role partners with Corporate Tech stakeholders and engineering teams to deliver intuitive, secure, and maintainable front-end solutions that support enterprise priorities.

What will be your key responsibilities?

Power BI Application Development :

- Build, test, and maintain front-end applications and analytics using Power BI, ensuring usability, responsiveness, and maintainability.

- Develop reusable BI components and page templates aligned to enterprise design standards and component libraries.

- Translate wireframes, mockups, and requirements into functional user interfaces across desktop and mobile form factors.

- Apply engineering best practices across development, including testing, code reviews, documentation, security, and performance optimization.

Product Delivery and Cross-Functional Collaboration :

- Partner with product owners, designers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver user-focused front-end features.

- Integrate BI components with APIs and back-end services to enable seamless data flow and application behavior.

- Support sprint planning, estimation, and delivery of enhancements while balancing speed, quality, and sustainability.

- Provide production support for BI applications, troubleshooting issues and driving continuous improvement.

Quality, Accessibility, and Governance :

- Follow coding standards, peer review processes, and release management practices for front-end development.

- Ensure applications meet accessibility, responsive design, browser compatibility, and security requirements.

- Contribute to automated testing and quality assurance using unit, integration, and UI testing practices.

- Collaborate with platform and architecture teams to align on shared standards, reusable frameworks, and best practices.

Operational Excellence and Support :

- Support deployment and transition of analytics solutions into production with appropriate monitoring and documentation.

- Collaborate with platform and engineering teams to improve reliability, performance, and cost efficiency of analytics workloads.

- Monitor solution health, investigate incidents, and resolve data or reporting issues with minimal business disruption.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement :

- Collaborate closely with engineers, architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to shape scalable analytics solutions.

- Act as a trusted technical partner across regional and global teams, ensuring alignment on requirements, definitions, and delivery approaches.

- Mentor other developers by sharing best practices, reviewing code, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

Continuous Improvement and Innovation :

- Identify opportunities to modernize analytics assets, improve reusability, and streamline data flows across Corporate Tech domains.

- Evaluate and apply advanced analytics techniques, automation, and emerging technologies where they add measurable value.

- Contribute to the evolution of analytics standards, frameworks, and reusable components across the organization.

What are we looking for?

Technical Expertise :

- Deep expertise on Power BI & Analytics Development tools

- Open to Learn React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for enterprise front-end development considering future roadmap

- Experience building responsive, accessible, and reusable BI components and integrating them with APIs.

- Familiarity with version control, CI/CD, code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.

- Understanding of browser compatibility, web security basics, and accessibility standards is preferred.

Delivery and Collaboration :

- Ability to work with designers, back-end developers, architects, and product managers to deliver user-centered solutions.

- Experience working in agile teams with accountability for delivering features and resolving defects.

- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Corporate Tech / Enterprise Application Knowledge :

- Familiarity with enterprise application development, internal portals, or shared service platforms is a plus.

- Experience supporting corporate functions such as digital workplace, finance tech, HR tech, risk, or sustainability is preferred.

Soft Skills :

- Strong analytical thinking and willingness to learn and apply new technologies/upgrades

- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
