Battery Smart - Data Analyst - Python/SQL

Responsibilities :

- Interpret data, analyse results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.

- Develop and implement a reporting infrastructure, interactive dashboards, and other analytical tools to provide insight into the data.

- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and highlight any issues in the existing databases/data systems.

- Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.

- Develop regression and forecasting models using historical data to predict the future performance of the portfolio.

- Work with management to prioritise business and information needs.

- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in statistics/mathematics/engineering.

- 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst.

- Technical experience in data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques.

- Strong knowledge of and experience with Excel, SQL, Python, and dashboarding tools such as Metabase, Tableau, etc.

- Develop regression and forecasting models using historical data to predict future performance of the portfolio.

- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing and visualising datasets (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, Seaborn).

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

- Keen interest in solving problems using data and providing a new perspective to stakeholders.

- Knowledge about the practices and procedures in the US unsecured lending industry.

- Experience in supervised and unsupervised model development.
