Job Description :

- Kubernetes

- Use Helm charts, ArgoCD (GitOps), and terraform for infrastructure provisioning.

- Configure and maintain Kubernetes clusters (AKS preferred).

- Deploy and manage Kafka containers using Kubernetes.

- Scale Kafka deployments within Kubernetes environments.

- Monitor Kubernetes health and performance.

- Kafka Cluster Management

- Configure and maintain strimzi Kafka clusters.

- Troubleshoot Kafka-related issues (performance, memory, security).

- Integrate Kafka with other systems and data pipelines.

- Manage brokers, topics, partitions, retention policies, and access control.

- Monitor cluster performance, availability, and health.

- Implement high availability and disaster recovery strategies.

- Perform upgrades and patching of Kafka components.

- Perform upgrades and patching of Kafka components.

- Install, configure, and maintain Kafka (Confluent/ Apache) clusters.

- Automation & DevOps Integration

- CI/CD tools (ArgoCD, GitHub Actions)

- Automate Kafka provisioning and maintenance using Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions.

- Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.

- Security & Monitoring

- Implement access control, authentication, and encryption for Kafka.

- Set up monitoring and alerting using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 4-6 years of hands-on experience with Kafka (Apache or Confluent)

- Strong experience with Kubernetes and containerized deployments

- Hands-on experience with Strimzi Kafka Operator

- Proficiency with Helm, ArgoCD, and Terraform

- Experience working with AKS or other managed Kubernetes platforms

- Good understanding of CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
