Key Responsibilities :

Leadership & Team Management :

- Lead and mentor a team of researchers, engineers, or developers, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

- Define objectives, KPIs, and R&D roadmaps aligned with organizational strategy.

- Conduct performance reviews, resource planning, and skill development initiatives.

Research & Product Development :

- Drive end-to-end R&D processes including concept design, prototyping, testing, and scaling.

- Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend new tools, frameworks, or solutions.

- Collaborate with product, engineering, and quality teams to ensure successful implementation of R&D outputs.

Project Management & Execution :

- Plan, monitor, and manage multiple R&D projects ensuring timelines, budget, and quality deliverables are met.

- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, QA, and operations, to implement solutions.

- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for leadership and stakeholders.

Technical Oversight :

- Oversee technical feasibility assessments, architecture design, and development methodologies.

- Ensure best practices for code quality, version control, and testing (for software) or experimental protocols (for other domains).

- Review technical designs, prototypes, and experimental results, providing actionable feedback.

Technical Skills & Qualifications :

- Educational Qualification : Masters or Bachelors in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or relevant domain.

- Experience : 8 to 12 years in R&D, product development, or technical leadership roles.

Domain Knowledge :

Software :

- Programming (Python, Java, C++)

- Data Structures

- Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)

- CI/CD

- APIs

- Microservices.

Engineering :

- CAD

- Prototyping

- Design validation

- Simulations

- Process optimization.

Pharma/Biotech :


- Formulation

- experimental design

- quality standards

- regulatory compliance.

- Project Management Tools : JIRA, Trello, MS Project, or equivalent.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

- Experience in leading cross-functional teams and handling budgets.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
