Role Summary:

We are seeking a Software Engineer with strong experience in .NET Core, C#, APIs, and SQL, along with exposure to Azure cloud and Microservices architecture. The ideal candidate should also have awareness or experience in AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot or similar) to enhance productivity and code efficiency. This role involves building scalable, cloud-native applications, developing APIs, and contributing to modern software engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Application Development:

- Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET Core and C#

- Build and enhance RESTful APIs and backend services

- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices

- Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality deliverables

2. Microservices Architecture:

- Develop and maintain microservices-based applications

- Work on service decomposition, API communication, and integration

- Ensure scalable, loosely coupled, and resilient service design

3. Cloud (Azure) Development:

- Deploy and manage applications on Microsoft Azure

- Work with Azure services such as:

1. App Services

2. Azure Functions

3. Azure SQL / Managed Databases

- Monitor application performance and optimize cloud usage

4. Database & SQL:

- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas

- Work with relational databases (SQL Server / Azure SQL)

- Ensure data integrity, performance, and efficient data handling

5. AI-Assisted Development (Copilot / AI Tools):

- Utilize tools like GitHub Copilot or AI-based coding assistants

- Improve development productivity using AI-assisted code generation

- Follow best practices in reviewing AI-generated code for accuracy and security

6. API Integration & Performance:

- Integrate third-party and internal APIs

- Ensure API performance, scalability, and security

- Work on debugging and troubleshooting issues

7. DevOps & Collaboration:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, Product)

- Work with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)

- Participate in agile ceremonies (Sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Strong experience in:

1. .NET Core / ASP.NET Core

2. C# programming

3. REST API development

- Good knowledge of:

1. SQL and relational databases

2. Microservices architecture concepts

- Hands-on experience with:

1. Microsoft Azure (basic to intermediate level)

- Understanding of:
