The Role:

We are seeking a specialized Backend Engineer with a strong background in analytics and data-intensive backend systems. You will design, build, and scale our core backend services and data pipelines, ensuring our platform can process complex supply chain metrics, run heavy analytical queries, and deliver low-latency insights to enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Backend Architecture: Design and build scalable RESTful APIs, microservices, and asynchronous task workers using Python (FastAPI/Django) or Node.js.

- Analytics & Data Processing: Architect high-performance data processing pipelines to aggregate, clean, and analyze large-scale supply chain and inventory datasets.

- Database Optimization: Write complex SQL queries, optimize database schemas, and manage indexing strategies in relational (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and analytical datastores.

- System Scalability: Ensure our backend infrastructure handles high-volume telemetry and reporting workloads without performance degradation.

- Quality & Collaboration: Write robust unit/integration tests, participate in rigorous code reviews, and collaborate with product managers and data scientists.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements):

- Experience: 3+ years of backend software development experience, ideally within a B2B SaaS, supply chain, logistics, or data analytics product environment.

- Tech Stack Mastery: Strong command of Python (FastAPI/Django) and/or Node.js, combined with advanced SQL capabilities.

- Analytics Background: Proven experience building backend logic for data-heavy applications, dashboards, reporting engines, or time-series data processing.

- Database & Cloud Competency: Solid hands-on experience with relational databases, caching layers (Redis), and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP).

- Engineering Mindset: Strong system design capabilities, problem-solving skills, and a proactive "ownership" mentality.
