Backend Engineer - Python/FastAPI

About the Role :

As a Backend Engineer, you will be building scalable, robust backend systems that power AI workflows and conversational voice bots, enabling seamless customer experiences.

This is a unique opportunity to work alongside industry veterans from Google, Rubrik, and leading AI research groups, contributing to real-world AI-driven solutions with a direct impact on enterprise financial services.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement complex AI workflow orchestration using Temporal, ensuring reliability and fault tolerance.

- Work with MongoDB to design schema and optimize queries for high-throughput data access.

- Integrate and automate business processes using RPA tools like n8n and Make.com.

- Collaborate with AI researchers and frontend teams to embed LLMs, vector libraries, and voice/chat AI into backend workflows.

- Build, test, and deploy solutions in a fast-paced environment with a focus on rapid iteration and continuous improvement.

- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical knowledge sharing.

- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize system performance and scalability.

- Stay current with AI advancements and propose innovative technology solutions for enterprise use cases.

Must-Have Skills :

- Experience working with Temporal.io or equivalent workflow orchestration tools.

- Hands-on experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.

- Familiarity with RPA tools such as n8n, Make.com, or similar automation platforms.

- Solid understanding of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and backend best practices
